Program Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The Program Support Officer will provide direct support to Academic Leadership in the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences' Department of Continuous Professional Learning. This role involves providing a comprehensive range of support services to students, professors, vendors/service providers, program coordinators, and internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support, including program, financial, human resources, student, marketing, and inter-departmental support
  • Acting as a resource to students, faculty, professors, vendors/service providers, program coordinators, and administrators on the application of the College's academic policies and procedures
  • Developing opportunities that directly impact the learning environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff

Qualifications:

  • 3-year diploma or degree from a recognized college or university in Business, Communications, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years' progressive administrative or student advising experience in a post-secondary environment
  • Experience with compiling and analyzing research-based data, producing reports, and identifying trends
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
