Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at Wyndham Hill. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our apartment/condominium complex.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability, flexibility, and initiative
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, part-time position with 15 hours of work per week. The work environment is all-weather conditions, and the work setting is an apartment/condominium complex.
