Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Multimedia Content Creator to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our news operations, you will be responsible for creating fast-paced, compelling, and informative news content for our digital properties and broadcast on our television and radio news programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement content strategies that drive engagement and audience growth.
  • Research, pitch, and produce breaking and enterprise news content for television, radio, and digital platforms.
  • Edit and publish digital content in our content management system (WordPress) and/or manage television content in our television content management system (Inception).
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our brand and audience to inform content decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve content quality and relevance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in content creation, production, and publishing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital media platforms and social media trends.
