Clinical Content Specialist - Full-Time - Remote

Proclinical Group is on the lookout for a skilled and forward-thinking Clinical Content Specialist. This is a full-time remote role, and candidates must possess the legal right to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

The position requires collaboration with both internal and external professionals to pinpoint gaps in practice, create strategic needs assessments, and investigate new business development avenues. This home-based role is perfect for individuals who excel in a remote work setting.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated to work independently while also being an effective team player.
  • An advanced degree in a medical or scientific field is preferred, or equivalent experience in medical education.
  • Proven expertise in specific therapeutic areas, grant writing experience, and substantial background in crafting and refining clinical content for healthcare audiences.
  • Strong editorial skills with the ability to modify writing style based on the educational format and target audience.
  • A solid foundation in oncology and other therapeutic fields.
  • Proficient in researching, compiling, and swiftly analyzing clinical and scientific data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the regulations governing medical education and current industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple projects at various stages, and adhere to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
  • Knowledge of the AMA Style Guide is advantageous.

The Clinical Content Specialist will:

  • Cultivate and sustain knowledge of the regulations that oversee accredited continuing medical education and professional development.
  • Work closely with the medical director to actively engage in grant development.
  • Stay informed about critical clinical issues and industry developments in breast and lung cancer.
  • Regularly contribute to proposals and needs assessments for industry grant committees.
  • Utilize therapeutic area expertise to create scientifically aligned educational agendas within grants, incorporating suitable instructional design elements.
  • Collaborate with the grant operations and editorial teams to finalize educational and scientific content of grants before submission.
