**Job Summary**

The Flight Follower position is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of flights at IMP Group. As a Flight Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supporting flights accurately and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Undertake flight alerting procedures and respond to pilot-in-command requests for information related to the flight
  • Monitor flight progress from commencement to termination, including intermediate stops
  • Communicate with pilot-in-command concerning airplane landings and departures
  • Notify the Communications Center of acceptance and ETA times for all flights
  • Ensure software systems are updated in a timely manner, including building flights and monitoring alerts
  • Utilize flight planning software for issuing company NOTAMS
  • File flight plans on behalf of flight crew members and monitor weather alerts
  • Liaise with Nav Canada regarding flight plan updates and cancellations
  • Track crew and aircraft downtime and duty days
  • Activate Emergency Response Plan if required
  • Complete comprehensive daily Shift Report
  • Track response times and delays, as well as on-time performance
  • Accomplish other assigned duties as requested

**Requirements**

  • Post-Secondary Diploma
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Initiative and ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages (MS Word and MS Excel essential)
  • Available to work shift hours in a 24/7 operation
  • Background in aviation essential
