Job Title: System and Network Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled System and Network Analyst to join our team at BeachHead Inc. This role requires a strong understanding of network performance and capacity planning, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network performance and capacity, analyzing data to ensure optimal utilization of network infrastructure.
  • Analyze and project current and future growth needs for WAN, LAN, and Firewalls.
  • Perform performance/capacity planning, monitoring, analysis, recommendation, and tracking/reporting for the existing network and its elements.
  • Support complex application performance-related incidents and contribute to high-priority enterprise incidents.
  • Work with Network and Client Architects to stay on top of network plans and projects, planning and assisting in preparing the network for new projects.
  • Monitor network capacity issues proactively, reporting and remedying them before a real incident.
  • Provide consulting on testing new technology from a capacity standpoint and come up with KPIs, thresholds, and procedures for monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
  • Analyze packet traces for understanding application flows and derive issues related to network capacity to come up with recommendations for optimal use of the network.
  • Maintain detailed growth models on an ongoing basis for each Line of Business based upon assimilated knowledge around current and upcoming projects.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in Network Support.
  • 5 years of strong understanding of Network firewalls and firewall rules (Palo Alto, NSX, other).
  • 5 years of experience in troubleshooting/maintenance of Network devices such as CISCO switches and routers.
  • CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional.
