About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Assistant Superintendent to join our senior leadership team at Yellowknife Catholic Schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational direction of our district.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement observable impact planning in alignment with our district priorities of Inspiring Thinking, Cultivating Well-Being, and Building Relationships through the lens of our Catholic faith.
  • Lead, engage, and collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to drive school improvement and student success.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making and drive school improvement initiatives.
  • Build relationships with Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities to promote cultural understanding and reconciliation.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in an educational field.
  • Minimum of five years experience as a school principal or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in the use of data for school improvement.
  • Knowledge of the British Columbia curriculum would be an asset.
  • Experience in building relationships with Indigenous peoples, organizations, and communities.
