">Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Youth Hub Outreach Worker to connect with street-involved or vulnerable youth who are not yet connected to our programs and other social and community services across York Region. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can assess the needs of these youth and provide them with access to essential support services.
">- Provide outreach services to youth in need of support, including those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
- Assess the needs of youth and develop strategies to minimize crisis and increase stability.
- Collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive support services to youth.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be adaptable, and have the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. A post-secondary degree or diploma in a child/youth related field, along with a minimum of three years' experience working with at-risk or street-involved youth, is required. Additionally, current First Aid/CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and a clean driver's abstract are assets.
