We are looking for a highly skilled finance professional to fill the role of Vice President, Finance and Chief Accountant at Stonewood Group Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving business results.

**Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Accounting Function: Oversee the accounting function, including financial reporting, audit, and compliance.
  3. Leadership and Collaboration: Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancements of internal financial controls, policies, procedures, processes, and systems, as well as internal/external audits. Collaborate with all financial and other stakeholders in investee companies to ensure they receive necessary guidance and support, and report in a timely and accurate fashion.

**Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Administration with CA or equivalent designation.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of progressive, hands-on experience in financial management with increasing responsibilities for multi-faceted direction and planning.
  • Experience working in highly entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and demanding environments.
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company with fund reporting experience.
