  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Water Activities: Accompany clients to water-based activities, such as swimming or walking, to promote physical activity and socialization.
  • Assist with Personal Hygiene: Help clients maintain their personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and using the bathroom.
  • Assist with Exercise: Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking or stretching, to maintain physical mobility and flexibility.
  • Change Non-Sterile Dressings: Change non-sterile dressings on clients' wounds or skin conditions.
  • Collect Specimens: Collect specimens from clients for medical testing or analysis.
  • Demonstrate Infant Care: Teach new parents how to care for their infants, including feeding, bathing, and soothing techniques.
  • Feed or Assist with Feeding: Assist clients with feeding themselves or provide assistance with feeding if needed.
  • Launder Clothing and Household Linens: Wash, dry, and fold clients' clothing and household linens.
  • Mend Clothing and Linens: Repair torn or damaged clothing and linens.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Assist clients with light housekeeping and cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens.
  • Plan Therapeutic Diets and Menus: Work with clients to plan healthy and nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide Companionship: Spend quality time with clients, engaging in activities that promote socialization and companionship.
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Shop for Food and Household Supplies: Assist clients with grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies.
  • Prepare and Serve Nutritious Meals: Prepare and serve healthy and nutritious meals to clients.
  • Cook: Prepare and cook meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience working in a care-related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular 40-hour workweek, with occasional overtime as needed.
