We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A to join our team. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director, FP&A in financial planning, business case analysis, and reporting activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare files for government agencies to collect subsidies, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and KPIs.
- Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Support the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of budget templates and consolidation of departmental budgets.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business initiatives and strategic projects.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for the Board of Directors and executive leadership.
- Monitor and report on financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations for mitigation or capitalizing on opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist in creating data room Excel files related to spectrum assets for various counterparties.
Requirements
- 3-5 years in a financial analysis role, preferably within a corporate FP&A function or Big 4.
- Experience in the telecommunications, infrastructure or technology sector is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Takes initiative and has an urgency in meeting targets.
- Strong communication skills and collaborator.
