Job Title: Assistant Store Manager - Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Gateway Liquor Store Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing staff, assigning duties, and determining merchandise and services to be sold.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Determine staffing requirements based on sales and customer traffic
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
