Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Gateway Liquor Store Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving stock, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Merchandise Management: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, including selecting products and managing promotions.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a high-performing team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Urban area.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
