We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As a leading paediatric healthcare centre, we are committed to providing exceptional care to children and their families.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical, scholarly, and administrative duties, as required. This will include a substantial commitment to the care of children with lower extremity deformities, as well as participation in the emergency Orthopaedic call schedule at SickKids.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to children with lower extremity deformities and other complex orthopaedic conditions.
  • Participate in the emergency Orthopaedic call schedule at SickKids.
  • Contribute to the Division's scholarly productivity through research, education, or global health initiatives.
  • Provide effective and collaborative leadership at the hospital, provincial, national, and international level.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified fellowship-trained surgeon with outstanding potential, or an established surgeon with an international reputation. They must be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher at the University of Toronto and be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $352,614 - $500,000 for 35 hours work per week, plus on-call responsibilities. We also provide support for relocation expenses and a comprehensive benefits package.
