Retail Store Manager

At Friendly Dollar & Discount, we are seeking a highly organized and reliable Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Tasks: Effectively allocate sales responsibilities to team members to maximize sales potential and ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Inventory Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain accurate inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints, requests, and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales associates, manage cash handling, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of retail experience.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Friendly Dollar & Discount is a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you must be organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team.
