**Job Summary**

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shop Administrator to join our team in Grande Prairie.

This role involves working closely with our shop team to ensure seamless administrative operations and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and a Class 5 driver's license.


**Responsibilities**

  • Daily receipt and uploading of shop POs
  • Collaboration with parts people and Accounts Payable for invoice processing
  • Resolution of issues in the awaiting receipts queue
  • Maintenance of the Preventive Maintenance work schedule in JD Edwards
  • Management of equipment work orders in JD Edwards
  • Regular entry of equipment hours and mileage
  • Purchase order creation for the maintenance shop
  • Inventory transactions for completed services
  • Bi-weekly review of the equipment PM backlog report
  • Advocacy for the company's safety program and ethics policy


**Requirements**

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Administrative diploma preferred
  • Minimum 1 year administrative experience
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or shop setting beneficial
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards, Onbase, and Microsoft software assets


**Work Environment**

Our work environment is located within our shop, involving regular periods of sitting, standing, computer use, and potential exposure to noise, dust, and odors.

Able-bodied candidates are expected to lift and carry up to 10 LBS regularly and 50 LBS occasionally.

Overtime may be necessary, and adherence to the company's substance abuse policy is mandatory.
