Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at Maarut Inc. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our clients in the healthcare industry.

About the Role

This is a senior IT Consultant position that requires 7+ years of experience in HRIS systems, payroll management, and service management processes. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide timely and effective solutions.

Responsibilities
  • HRIS Support: Provide daily ongoing Tier 2 subject matter expertise to HRIS clients, including payroll guidance with the Quadrant Workforce application.
  • Ticket Management: Prioritize regularly scheduled support activities along with urgent, often unscheduled support requests with a high level of responsiveness and time sensitivity.
  • Liaison Services: Liaise between users and other team members, including Database Administrators, System Administrators, Network Administrators, Privacy and Security Specialists, and Software Subject Matter Experts.
  • Application Defect Identification: Identify application defects and assist in complex trouble shooting and root cause analysis.
  • Service Improvement: Follow all established Service Management process and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Public Sector Experience: 2+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Knowledge of personal health information protection legislative requirements and how they apply to developing and maintaining healthcare systems containing personal health information.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Logibec Quadrant Workforce: Proficiency in Logibec Quadrant Workforce software.
  • Payroll Certification: Certified in payroll management.
  • OTR: Understanding of OTR (Online Time Reporting) systems.
  • AODA Compliance: Knowledge of AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) compliance requirements.
  • MS Teams: Experience with MS Teams communication platform.
  • MS Excel: Proficient in MS Excel spreadsheet software.
  • MS Power Point: Skilled in MS Power Point presentation software.
Service Management Skills
  • Service Management Processes: 5+ years' experience in supporting remote clients.
  • Ticket Triage: Experience triaging tickets, prioritizing, categorizing, and handling service requests, incidents, and problem tickets.
  • Footprints Ticketing Application: Familiarity with Footprints Ticketing Application.
Management and Communication Skills
  • Strong Relationships: Proven track record for building strong working relationships.
  • Interpersonal Communication: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, including tact and diplomacy to ensure client needs are managed effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Listening Skills: Ability to apply strong listening skills to facilitate issue resolution.
MUST HAVES:
