Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Scotia Dental in Halifax. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch preventative dental care services to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
- Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening
- Serve as an oral health educator, introducing new preventative techniques and counseling patients
- Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on patients' expectations, while maintaining ethical and professional behavior
- Completed Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree
- Registered Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing
- Valid CPR certification
