About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Montessori Mes Petits Academy. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare program and contributing to the educational and developmental growth of our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Early Childhood Educators: Collaborate with our experienced educators to implement programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Engage Children in Activities: Plan and lead engaging activities, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts, to stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
  • Prepare Snacks and Environments: Prepare healthy snacks and arrange rooms or furniture to create a safe and inviting environment for children during lunch and rest periods.
Certifications and Qualifications
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1): Possess a valid certification in Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) or equivalent.
  • Basic Security Clearance: Hold a valid basic security clearance.
  • Immunization Records and Tuberculosis Test: Provide up-to-date immunization records and a valid tuberculosis test result.

  • Punctuality and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent punctuality and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Communication and Flexibility: Possess excellent oral communication skills and be flexible to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Values and Ethics: Uphold the values and ethics of Montessori Mes Petits Academy, including respect, empathy, and a commitment to child-centered education.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English: Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week: Work a regular schedule of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
