About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team at Little Munchkin Daycare Ltd. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Early Childhood Educators: Collaborate with our experienced educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, including observations, milestones, and daily activities.
  • Engage Children: Plan and implement activities that stimulate children's curiosity, creativity, and imagination, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare healthy snacks, arrange rooms and furniture for meals and rest periods, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Communication: Submit written observations to educators and supervisors, and participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
  • Immunization Records: Up-to-date immunization records are necessary for working with children.
  • Availability: Must be available to start immediately and commit to a regular schedule.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
