Job Title: Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team at Savers/Value Village. As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up goods in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ontario, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of merchandise to our stores and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and pick up goods according to a pre-determined route, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of merchandise.
  • Create bills of lading according to individual store pick-ups.
  • Maintain and record information regarding truck maintenance and performance.
  • Check vehicles to ensure proper safety and work conditions are in compliance with company policies and MTO standards.
  • Learn and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years' experience driving with a minimum Class DZ license with Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Clean CVOR/driving record.
  • Forklift Certified.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to pull or push a pallet jack.
  • Ability to operate a trailer jack assembly.

Tools and Equipment Used:

Box Truck, Forklift, pallet jack.
