About the Role
- Embody the company's Guiding Principles and EH&S compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and defect reduction initiatives.
- Support a proactive safety culture.
- Operate and maintain equipment, including drill presses and grinders.
- Assemble and weld parts, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitor machine output and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement fixtures, tools, and templates.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities.
Requirements
- Experience in a fabrication department, with a focus on welding and pipe fitting.
- Ability to pass ASME weld tests.
- Experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and exotic alloys.
- Strong understanding of blueprints and drawing specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- More than two years of experience in a welding department.
- Valid driver's license.
