Job Title: Precision Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team at Groupe Megatech Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to manufacture precision parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
  • Repair machine tools and parts
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
  • Fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintaining, repairing, and calibrating precision measuring instruments
  • Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
  • Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
  • Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
