Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Fastway Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and maintain heavy equipment, including cranes and other machinery.
  • Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Help with drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Participate in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Operate and maintain machines and equipment used in construction.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with physical demands.
  • Comfortable with heights, outdoors, and in noisy and dusty conditions.
Work Environment

Our construction sites are dynamic and physically demanding environments. As a Construction Helper, you will be expected to work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, and adhere to safety protocols.
