Food Service Attendant

Join Canada Inc as a skilled Food Service Attendant and be part of a dynamic team that serves delicious food to customers in an urban area. This is a permanent position, offering 30-40 hours of work per week with free parking available.
About the JobWe are seeking an efficient individual who can multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience working in customer service roles, handling cash transactions using electronic cash registers, and working under pressure. As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for receiving and stocking supplies, operating equipment such as deep fryers and conventional ovens, and preparing simple food items.
In this role, you will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, removing kitchen garbage and trash, and storing cleaning products and supplies. A valid Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field are required.
Key Responsibilities- Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
- Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods for customers.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to recipes and menu standards.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars with ingredients and supplies.
- Take customers' orders and handle cash transactions using electronic cash registers.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to prepare and serve food to customers.
This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
