Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse
Job Summary:
Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a community setting, working under the direction of the immediate Supervisor. Your clinical skills and compassion will make a difference in the lives of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide client care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills.
- Perform routine nursing duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and Standards of Nursing Practice as defined by the provincial licensing body.
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the provincial licensing body.
- Previous experience in the acute care sector or long-term care.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
