As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of nursing practice and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality resident care while adhering to established protocols and physician orders
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate appropriate health measures
  • Organize and direct functions related to resident care, including training and professional development of new staff
  • Collaborate with nursing and personal care staff to manage workload and ensure efficient care delivery

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset but not required
  • Registration/eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
  • Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with comprehensive knowledge of duties
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with ability to work individually and as part of a team
