Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Hut. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that all food and service meet our high expectations
- Prepare and manage budgets, tracking expenses and identifying areas for cost savings
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing prompt and effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, informing management of trends and areas for improvement
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting. You will be required to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality.
