Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food and Kitchen Supplies: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Hiring and Management: Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at Liverpool Pizzeria & Lounge, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and maintain attention to detail to ensure high-quality food and service.

Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
