About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Superintendent to join our team at Hall Constructors. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring operational excellence, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, field staff, and stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and control project costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring business continuity and minimizing potential losses.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities to direct reports, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in civil construction, trades, or a relevant field.
  • Post-secondary training in a relevant field, considered an asset.
  • Designations such as Gold Seal or PMP, considered an asset.
  • Experience with HCSS and Sitedocs, an asset.
  • Proven track record of operational excellence, leadership, and team management.
  • Strong business acumen, technical skills, and interpersonal skills.
