About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements
  • Apply coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be exposed to dusty and noisy environments, and will be required to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
