Job Summary:

AdvanTec Global Innovations is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Department in Chilliwack. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt and storage of materials, as well as the accurate and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify all incoming materials physically and within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Liaise with our Purchasing and Quality Departments on non-conforming, incoming goods.
  • Liaise with our Quality Department on incoming goods requiring inspection.
  • Put materials away and deliver them to the appropriate parties.
  • Complete raw material requests (pick, issue, deliver).
  • Measure product to determine the crate size (width, height, and length) and perform add-ons as needed.
  • Label the crate with the correct window or door number.
  • Fulfill and submit crate sheets to production administration and label the crate with all necessary shipping labels and information.
  • Order supplies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized work environment, particularly in the raw material storage area.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counting, issuing, and staging work orders for the production floor.
  • Identify and verify vendor packing slips, carrier shipping documents, and other receiving documents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with our Supply Chain Team Leads on all aspects of warehouse functions.
  • Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records.

Requirements:

  • Superior organizational skills to maintain stock locations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A team player able to support colleagues and the department as needed.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment is an asset.
  • Forklift Operator Certification is an asset.
