Job Title: Receiver/Forklift Operator

AdvanTec Global Innovations is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receiver/Forklift Operator to join our Supply Chain Department in Chilliwack. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of materials, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting the inventory control process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify all incoming materials, both physically and within our ERP system.
  • Oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries.
  • Liaise with Purchasing and Quality Departments on non-conforming, incoming goods.
  • Liaise with Quality Department on incoming goods requiring inspection.
  • Put materials away and deliver them to the appropriate parties.
  • Complete raw material requests (pick, issue, deliver).
  • Measure product to determine the crate size (width, height, and length) and perform add-ons as needed.
  • Label the crate with the correct window or door number.
  • Fulfill and hand in the crate sheet to production administration and label the crate with all the correct shipping labels and shipping information.
  • Order supplies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an organized work environment, especially the raw material storage in the yard.
Requirements:
  • Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to lift up to 50Lbs.
  • A team player able to step in to support your team and department when needed.
  • High school education or GED equivalent.
  • Experience in a warehouse an asset.
  • Forklift Operator Certification an asset.
