About The Role

We are seeking qualified Substitute Teachers to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. As a Substitute Teacher, you will maintain continuity in education by stepping in during the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Lesson Delivery: Provide effective instruction following existing lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  2. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
  3. Adaptability: Quickly familiarize yourself with the school's policies, procedures, and curriculum to seamlessly integrate into different classrooms.
  4. Student Engagement: Foster a love for learning by encouraging student participation, interaction, and critical thinking.
  5. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and school administration to ensure a smooth transition during the teacher's absence.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  2. Teaching certification/license.
  3. Up-to-date VSC.
  4. Proven experience as a classroom teacher.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments.
  7. Classroom management skills to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
