We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Meat Cutter to join our team at Al Salam Halal Meat. As a key member of our butchery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of meat products for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat: Clean and prepare meats to be processed or cut according to customer orders.
  • Meat Preparation: Prepare special cuts of meat, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and wrap and package prepared meats.
  • Meat Display and Presentation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
  • Meat Weighing and Grading: Weigh meats for sale and ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced butchery environment, standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a butchery or meat processing environment.
  • Work Setting: Butcher shop environment.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
