We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Island Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. They will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify health needs and develop individualized care plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement population-based strategies to improve health outcomes
- Participate in peer review and self-review to evaluate the effectiveness of patient care services
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia
- Experience in primary care or related field
