About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team at EBSCO Industries Inc. As a key member of our Stacks for Libraries team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust code for our digital library platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements to research, plan, and design elegant solutions
  • Write high-quality, well-structured code following proper Drupal coding standards
  • Collaborate with team members to review, test, and deliver features and improvements on time
  • Work with the team to architect new features and DevOps integrations
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience developing with Drupal
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and MySQL
  • Knowledge of GIT version control and GIT workflows
  • Experience with building large-scale Drupal sites
  • Excellent knowledge of Drupal 8 with creating custom modules
  • Knowledge of CLI tools, such as Composer, Drush, and Drupal Console
  • Experience with integrating with third-party APIs into Drupal

  • Has a post-secondary diploma or degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Has experience working with Atlassian products, such as JIRA and Bitbucket
  • Is knowledgeable about other technologies and can suggest integration solutions
  • Has a strong understanding of PCI compliance
  • Has an eye for design and UX consistency across platforms
  • Has extreme attention to detail and consistency to minimize errors
Target Annual Compensation

The target annual compensation range for this role is $79,160 - $113,085 CAD. The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
