We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Toronto IBI Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs, providing education and support to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of clients
  • Collaborate with specialists to create programs that promote independence and self-advocacy
  • Provide one-on-one support and guidance to clients in a general office or counselling centre setting
  • Assist clients in developing life skills, such as daily living skills and social skills
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 1 year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other special needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
