Job Title: Instructor of Persons with Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructor of Persons with Disabilities to join our team at Toronto IBI Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational and life skills training to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education and intervention plans to facilitate the readaptation and independence of clients.
  • Collaborate with specialists to develop programs for clients' special needs.
  • Assist students to develop life skills, including daily living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in a general office and counselling centre setting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as special education, psychology, or social work.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
