Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing market share for Peak and Home Depot, and will work closely with our Senior Vice President, Sales, to define and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve/exceed sales targets and grow Peak and Home Depot market share.
  • Adhere to budget constraints and analyze sales reports to create action plans.
  • Address underperforming and over-performing stores with action plans, and share best practices with the sales and customer service team.
  • Maintain professionalism as a Peak representative and foster strong relationships with Home Depot associates at all levels.
  • Schedule time to meet with MET Regional Managers, Area Supervisors, and Store Managers, and conduct 'Train the Trainer' programs and product demonstrations.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within Home Depot, and support and execute new product launches.
  • Creating and maintaining Planogram data base, and attending weekly Home Depot Meeting and fully participating.
  • Captain all Road Shows in your region, and plan and share a monthly schedule of your store walks in advance.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experience, with experience in retail, manufacturing, or account management, particularly in the home improvement industry.
  • Superior work ethic and self-starter, with ability and willingness to travel by car and plane.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and via email, with excellent organization skills and the ability to execute and manage competing demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Post-secondary education is preferred, but not required.
