GardaWorld is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Security Officer to join our team in Sault Ste Marie. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our retail clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Monitor and control access to the retail store, ensuring only authorized personnel and customers enter the premises.
  • Patrol the Site: Conduct regular patrols of the retail store and surrounding areas to deter and detect any potential security threats.
  • Monitor CCTV: Monitor closed-circuit television cameras to detect and respond to any security incidents.
  • Coordinate Response: Coordinate with security personnel and emergency services to respond to security incidents and ensure a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • Valid Security Guard License: Possess a valid security guard license and first aid card.
  • Flexibility: Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and afternoons.
  • Criminal Background: Have a clear criminal background and be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR: Possess standard first aid and CPR certification.
  • Use of Force Training: Be able to pass Use of Force, theory, and physical training provided by GardaWorld.
