We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing analysis, support, and data query services for multiple custom In-House applications.

This is a permanent, hybrid (3 days a week) opportunity in Burnaby.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis
  • Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write and interpret queries
  • Strong knowledge of data analytics

While not required, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Experience with mobile application development or integrated systems
  • Familiarity with APIs and how they interact with various business applications
  • Exposure to AI or computer vision projects, particularly in environments that capture and categorize data through image/video processing
  • Understanding of recycling, environmental efficiency, or logistics systems, specifically those involving product movement and tracking (e.g., courier-like systems)

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for custom-built applications with multiple integrations (16+ systems, including mobile apps)
  • Working with developers to ensure accurate system integrations, monitoring progress, and troubleshooting any issues
  • Acting as a QA tester, conducting functional and integration tests after development is complete to ensure system integrity
  • Supporting the project by facilitating communication between internal stakeholders, developers, and the broader business team, contributing to knowledge sharing across the team
