Business Systems Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our client's talented team on a 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in implementing a new Point of Sale system with the Unified Commerce Platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Building out requirements and collaborating on design and testing efforts to implement a new Point of Sale system with the Unified Commerce Platform
  • Collaborating between internal and external development teams to complete data-mapping exercises for system integrations that enable message schemas to be built out
  • Ensuring solution design meets acceptance criteria
  • Obtaining alignment between development teams on required data-mapping between ~50 system integrations
  • Developing swim lane diagrams for system integration flows related to omnichannel order management
  • Documenting requirements in user story format
  • Completing technical documentation to support integration development
  • Working with an established Agile team including business analysts and a team of QA
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in business, information systems or a relevant field, completion of a recognized Business Analysis program, and/or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, working on agile projects related to e-commerce, retail & omni-channel
  • Experience with working in an Agile methodology
  • Experience with API development / microservices
  • Experience working Google Pub/Sub or SAP integrations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders to be able to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements efficiently
  • Possess a high level of analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • Highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • Able to balance autonomy and collaboration
  • Unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Experience with working in the (Outdoor) Apparel or Retail industry
