Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our winter maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you'll safely operate a combo unit, performing snow removal on local roads and highways as per contract requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating and maintaining combo units, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols
- Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to equipment as required
- Familiarizing yourself with route maps and sand/salt application rates
- Meeting call-in requirements during winter storm events
- Providing traffic control at work zones and accident scenes, including set up and take down of traffic closures
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- BZ, DZ, or AZ license with a clean driver's abstract
- Availability to respond to call-ins within thirty minutes
- Ability to work assigned shifts, extended hours, and in extreme weather conditions
- Willingness to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs
