Our Team Needs

We're looking to hire a Retail Solutions Innovator based out of our head office in Scarborough, with the option to work predominantly from home due to current circumstances.

As our new Retail Solutions Innovator, you'll be responsible for understanding our customers' needs and translating them into innovative, manufacturable retail solutions that meet their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create development solutions that are not only innovative but also on-brand, functional, sustainable, cost-effective, and manufacturable.
  • Presentation of design development proposals (Planogram Presentations I Build Intent) and collaboration with clients to drive next-step solutions.
  • Active participation in Project Team huddles to explore ways to innovate through Design for Sustainability, Design for Value, Design for Manufacturing, and Design for Retail principles.
  • Development of planograms or value-engineered presentations using various techniques, including technical illustrations and 3D SolidWorks modeling.
  • IDentification of suitable materials and processes that are both cost-effective and efficient.
  • Designing solutions that balance manufacturability and brand requirements.
  • Production of Design Intent drawings for internal Development teams.
Your Qualifications
  • You hold a College Diploma or University Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Technology or Design (or similar field).
  • Experience in Point of Purchase (POP) or retail design is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CAD Software and SolidWorks is essential.
  • A solid understanding of various manufacturing processes and the ability to interpret documents like design briefs, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
