Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Helper to join our team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair duties to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Routine Maintenance - assist with painting, grounds maintenance, and other tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
  • Support Project Work - collaborate with the Chief Engineer and staff to complete projects and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and coworkers.
  • Interact with Guests and Coworkers - provide excellent customer service and respond to guest needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be a Safety and Security Agent - follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, and report any incidents or concerns to management.

Requirements

This role requires practical experience and a strong work ethic. Previous experience in customer service and hotels is preferred. You must have good communication skills, with an understanding of English, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include the ability to perform heavy work, stand for long periods, and walk long distances.
