Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Rigger to join our team at Mt. Lehman Leasing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials, as well as assisting in various construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading construction materials from trucks and equipment
  • Transporting materials to and from construction sites
  • Assisting in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Helping to align pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Assisting in demolishing buildings
  • Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
  • Performing routine maintenance work
  • Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads. You will be working outdoors in an urban area, and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
