Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist in the preparation of samples and reagents for routine processing. As a Clinical Laboratory Assistant, you will work under the technical oversight of a Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform simple non-interpretive tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
  • Perform simple non-interpretive tests under technical oversight
  • Ensure quality control checks and standards are run as required
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and adhere to company and Ministry of Health guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
Requirements:
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or graduate of an approved laboratory assistant course
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team-centered environment
