Meat Department Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Counter Clerk to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Meat Counter Clerk, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring that all meat products are properly displayed and priced.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the display of merchandise, including arranging and pricing meat products
- Wrap and package prepared meats to ensure customer satisfaction
- Weigh meats for sale and accurately record weights
- Sell meats to customers, providing excellent customer service and answering questions about products
- Remove bones from meat and prepare special orders
- Price meat products and maintain accurate records
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products to attract customers
- Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
Our Meat Counter Clerk will work in a fast-paced supermarket/grocery store environment, interacting with customers and colleagues to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
