Meat Department Associate

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Meat Clerk to join our team at our Station Square Food Store in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service in the Meat Department, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Wrap, label, and package prepared meats to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Ensure proper rotation and stocking of fresh and full products at all times, maintaining a clean and organized Meat Department.
- Face, fill, and organize all product items, ensuring easy access for customers.
- Disassemble and assemble all machines in the department for thorough cleaning, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
- Wash cooler and prep room floors daily, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize cutting blocks daily, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
- Monitor case temperature and clean equipment, maintaining a safe and efficient Meat Department.
- Perform other housecleaning duties as required, maintaining a clean and organized store.
Requirements:
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a meat department, is an asset.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong verbal communication skills, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Enthusiastic approach to work, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ability to work with all types of meat and meat products, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Honest and trustworthy, with a commitment to delivering exceptional results and maintaining a positive work environment.
